We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Enquiry details – when you use our contact or quote form, call us or message us: your name, phone number, email address, the unit size you are interested in, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Customer details – if you rent a unit: the contact, identification and payment details needed to set up and manage your storage agreement.
- Website usage – general information about how visitors use the site (such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location), collected through Google Analytics using cookies.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your enquiry, give you pricing and availability, set up and manage your storage agreement, contact you about your unit or account, meet our legal obligations, and understand how the website is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information, and we won’t send you marketing unless you ask for it.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information with service providers who help us run the business, such as:
- Jotform, which processes and stores submissions from our contact form;
- Google, which provides website analytics;
- our website host, email and accounting providers.
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where the law requires or permits it.
